JUST SAY "NO!"

Dear Coach K, how are things going? I hope that you are enjoying a great offseason. Heard you have another wonderful freshman class coming this year. Things are going good for us in Waco. Staying busy with church stuff, in Amarillo right now visiting my folks. Well, i just wanted to write you and let you know that those awful rumors about you possibly going to the Lakers have really got us concerned. I know that you would never leave us Dukies, but I just wanted to let you know that the Lakers blow and you would hate it. Well, next time you are in waco be sure and give us a call. Take care and don't sell us out for the Lakers of all things, for the LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THIS WORLD!!!! PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE!!!
cheers, ben

A Ghost is Born!

That is the name of the new Wilco album that is a great listen. In case you are unfamiliar with the amazing band that is called Wilco...they are an alt country band that struggles to fit into the world of music as we know it. The album deserves a listen from everyone, no matter what your music taste. I am continually finding new things that I just love about this album. therefore it deserves the title of MUSIC OF THE DAY!

There is a great deal of talk swirling around about the new Michael Moore film Fahrenheit 9/11. I have not scene the movie yet and will wait until I do to post my thoughts about the movie. I have been enjoying political conversations as of late. This election year is going to be fun to watch play out. As for now I can honestly say that I am still undecided but i am definitely leaning towards one side of the fence and that is for me to know and you to find out.

Finally, my father is off on an adventure that is something pretty amazing. He is on a week long bike ride in Colorado.

The ride consist of the following route:
Fort Collins to Estes Park 45 miles.
Glen Haven Canyon -- 8,000 ft

Estes Park to Granby -- 68 miles.
Rocky Mountain National Park Trail Ridge Road -- 12,183 ft
Fall River Pass -- 11,786 ft
Milner Pass -- 10,758 ft

Granby to Steamboat Springs -- 100 miles
Gore Pass -- 9527 ft

(Day off in Steamboat Springs -- Special Events)

Steamboat Springs to Walden -- 62 miles
Rabbit Ears Pass -- 9426 ft
Muddy Pass -- 8772

Walden to Fort Collins -- 101 miles
Cameron Pass -- 10,276 ft

So good luck Clay and as Lance would say, "Live Strong!"
