MAKE BEN FAIR

2004, I can't believe that it is 2004! That sounds so futuristic. I always wondered if we would be driving flying cars by now. But then, wouldn't we be flying the cars? I know, that is something to think about... anyways, I must confess the 2004 technology is pretty sweet. Tonight I am typing my first blog of the new year, from my new computer. My amazing parents helped us purchase a new apple ibook for Christmas. We finally got the thing this week and have it up and running. So you may think, " what is the big deal about a new computer?" I am sitting on my couch, that is right, I have the computer in my lap and all the wires are upstairs. So I am online yet not actually hooked up to anything. Most of you that are reading this are probably thinking, "big deal, we have known about wireless for a year or two" sure we have, but for me.. 2004 is the year that I am wireless! This is stinking cool.

Music of the day for today would have to be a tie between "The Strokes" and "The White Stripes". Got the cd's this weekend and really enjoy both of them. Again, these bands have been around and were so last year, but for me... 2004! This is going to be a good year I can tell. Did I mention that Jamie and I almost bought a house? Well, we almost bought a house over on Austin Ave. (it's a sweet street in waco) We decided not to after Jamie's sweet parents drove down and walked through the house with us. They noticed several things about the place that we overlooked. Parents are great aren't they! Here's to 2004! Cheers!
